I am dedicating this picture to my friend and fellow soldier Jared. I miss you day in and day out and there is not an hour that does not go by that I do not think of you. I feel guilty that I could not have done more. You’re goddam right I would have dragged you out of there if I could have. You were one of the brightest and hardest soldiers that I have had the honor of knowing, training, and living beside through the suck. I’ll see you on the other side of the road.
